Many elderly and people with disabilities live in their homes, struggling to care for themselves because of physical limitations. S.T.E.P.S. is one of a handful of South Florida nonprofits to offer to help the elderly by providing the kinds of services they need so they can continue to live independently.
What we do
Our staff and volunteers provide in-home services such as respite care, homemaker services, personal care, and minor home upgrades to seniors and individuals with disabilities and special needs.
We provide the following services:
- Housing Improvements
- Material Aid
- Caregiver Respite (in-home)
- Chores (washing and other cleaning services)
- Enhanced Chores
- Homemaker/Sitter/Companion
- Transportation
- Consumer Information and Referrals
